- 艾莉婭（Aaliyah，/ɑːˈliːə/，1979年1月16日－2001年8月25日）全名艾莉婭·達娜·豪頓（Aaliyah Dana Haughton），是一位美國的女演員、歌手和舞蹈演員。
成長背景
1979年1月16日艾莉婭生於美國紐約市的布魯克林區，她的名字來自斯瓦希里語，意為「最高貴的人」。她是父母親Diane和Michael Haughton的第二個孩子，也是他們最小的孩子，有非裔和美國原住民血統。母親Diane是一名聲樂家，因此在艾莉婭很小時就讓她開始學習聲樂；叔叔巴瑞·漢克森（Barry Hankerson）是一位娛樂業律師，曾與歌手格拉迪斯·奈特（Gladys Knight）有過婚史，因此艾莉婭很小時就跟隨奈特參加各種廣告和電視節目的試演，甚至還曾與她同台演出。

Vibe雜誌公開了一張兩人的「結婚證明」，上面寫有兩人的結婚日期為1994年8月31日，結婚地點在伊利諾州Rosemont的Sheraton Gateway Suites，以及「結婚」時艾莉婭當時為15歲。但當事人雙方一直否認這個說法。
1996年，艾莉婭轉與Atlantic Records簽約，與Timbaland、蜜茜·艾利爾特（Missy Elliott）等藝人合作，並於同年發表她的第二張專輯「One in a Million」。該專輯取得Billboard 200排行榜第18名的成績，在美國本土銷量超過兩百萬張，在全球則創下了超過八百萬張的銷量。其中的單曲 If Your Girl Only Knew 連續兩周蟬聯排行榜最熱R&B歌曲第一名。

墜機身亡
同名專輯面世一個月後，艾莉婭與唱片公司的人員前往巴哈馬群島為該專輯中的第二支單曲「Rock the Boat」拍攝MV。在拍攝完畢後，於北美東部時間2001年8月25日下午6:45，艾莉婭和隨從乘坐一架雙引擎的 Cessna 402B (N8097W) 小飛機從巴哈馬阿巴科群島（Abaco Islands）的馬什港（Marsh Harbour）出發，飛往美國佛羅里達州的一個機場。考慮到轉日還有航班，單曲MV的拍攝也已結束，他們便決定將所有的拍攝儀器一併放到飛機上，運回美國。但這導致飛機嚴重超載。這架飛機在起飛不久後即墜毀（墜毀地點距離跑道只有60米），發生撞擊後爆炸起火，艾莉婭和包括機長在內的其他七名成員當場死亡，第九位傷者送到醫院不治。事後的調查發現，失事時飛機嚴重超載，機長體內也被檢出了酒精和古柯鹼成分。艾莉婭在逝世時年僅22歲。她的葬禮於2001年8月31日在紐約的St. Ignatius Loyola教堂舉行，參加人數超過800人。
