- Skid Row的靈魂人物Sebastian Bach，原名Sebastian Bierk，1968年出生在巴哈馬群島的弗里波特(Freeport)。未加入Skid Row之前，他曾先後擔任過Herrenvolk, Madame X, V05和Kid Wikkid樂隊的主唱。1986年，Sebastian Bach受邀加入Skid Row樂隊。
Skid Row由前Bon Jovi樂隊的吉它手Dave 'Snake' Sabo一手創建，是90年代垃圾搖滾(Grunge)進入流行風潮前最後一支長發搖滾(Hair Metal)樂隊。成立初期只是為一些知名的搖滾樂隊暖場，包括曾擔任過Bon Jovi樂隊美國巡演的暖場樂隊等。待時機成熟後，Skid Row 在重金屬最紅火的 1989 年推出了首張流行重金屬風格的同名專輯，在這張專輯中，有一首描寫青少年犯罪問題的『18 And Lives』被後世傳為經典，成為樂隊的代表作。專輯一炮打響，僅在美國的銷量便超過 500 萬張。而在此後的巡演中，憑借帥氣的長相和十足的金屬個性，主唱Bach迅速成為大批樂迷和媒體的寵兒。
樂隊在 1991 年推出了第 2 張專輯《Slave To The Grind》成功駕馭了 Trash Metal 這種難度極大的音樂風格。Bach 逼近極限高音發揮的可謂淋漓盡致，使這支年輕的樂隊顯得非常老練。雖然專輯的商業味並不濃，但還是迅速地登上了 Billboard 專輯榜的榜首。
1995 年，Skid Row 出版第 3 張專輯《Subhuman Race》，但這次成績讓人失望。專輯的銷量明顯低與前兩張。此後的 Skid Row 矛盾四起，主唱 Bach 與其他成員矛盾加劇，最終離開樂隊。之後，Bach組建了新的樂隊Sebastian Bach and Friends。 並在 1999 年推出個人專輯《Bring 'Em Bach Alive》，可以說，到目前為止，在Skid Row樂隊的那段經歷仍然是Bach生命中最亮的時候，在這之後，每當他在舞檯上唱起Skid Row的那些經典老歌，都有無數歌迷為之動容。
近幾年Bach除了一直堅持自己的歌唱事業以外，還把事業延伸到表演領域。在多部電視劇中扮演過角色。
