- 鼓動樂團（The Drums）是來自於美國紐約布魯克林區的獨立音樂樂團。 部分團員為前愛克蘭樂團（Elkland）團員。
成立淵源
起創成員Pierce和Graham為青梅竹馬，雙方在參加夏令營時認識而後成為摯友。兩人曾組過一支電音流行樂團叫做'Goat Explosion'，並在全美巡迴演出。
之後好一陣子兩人各自發展：Pierce組了另一支獨立搖滾樂團叫做'Elkland'（愛克蘭樂團），該團創下不錯的佳績而後為哥倫比亞唱片所簽下。在此期間Graham也組了另一支樂團叫做'Horse Shoes'，隸屬於'Shelflife Records'。雙方在嘗試過電子音樂的創作後，決定轉變音樂風格。兩人在2008年於紐約創立了現在的樂團，音樂風格一轉由電音變成吉他伴奏。之後鼓手Connor Hanwick和前愛克蘭樂團吉他手Adam Kessler也加入了鼓動樂團。
樂團發展
2009年12月，該團首度榮登2010年「年度新聲」（BBC Sound of 2010）名單當中，之後BBC在2010年1月4日宣布鼓動樂團榮獲該年「BBC年度新聲」15名當中的第5名。音樂雜誌《新音樂快遞》及《Clash Magazine》皆將鼓動樂團列在2010年推薦必聽樂團的名單當中。此外在'Pitchfork Media'2009年的讀者票訪結果中鼓動樂團也榮登是2010年的「最期待樂團」（Best Hope for 2010）寶座。
影響
