專輯介紹：

雖只是一張罕見舊作與未發表歌曲選粹，Iron & Wine（美國民謠歌手Samuel Beam的化名）今年這張《Around The Well》，質與量均足以打翻好幾船臺面上的發行品。輕聲撥彈的吉他，細語醉人的呢喃，Iron & Wine就是有辦法將你轉換到一座杳無人煙的溫帶島嶼，這般絕活，Elliott Smith過世後能接棒者幾希。專輯還收錄了Flaming Lips、Postal Service與New Order等團的翻唱曲，尤其New Order那首〈Love Vigilantes〉，改編得極其精巧。長達九分多鐘的結尾歌〈The Trapeze Swinger〉更是今年最動聽的絕頂金曲之一。也提醒膠友，三片裝黑膠版的第六面是特殊的蝕刻裝飾，別錯過了。
