雷霆是來自倫敦的英國硬搖滾樂隊。該樂隊成立於1989年，由前Terraplane成員Danny Bowes（主唱），Luke Morley（吉他伴唱）和Gary“Harry”James（鼓手）以及第二吉他手兼鍵盤手Ben Matthews和貝司手Mark“Snake “Luckhurst。樂隊最初在英國與EMI Records簽約，並於1990年發行了他們的首張專輯“Backstreet Symphony”，該專輯在英國專輯排行榜上排名第21位，在美國Billboard 200排行榜上排名第114位。1992年的判決日Laughing達到了第二名，而這兩張專輯均獲得英國唱片行業（BPI）的認證。這兩張專輯發行的所有九張單曲都進入英國單曲榜前40名。
