- Absynthe Minded是一個比利時搖滾樂隊，圍繞著主唱，歌手和吉他手Bert Ostyn。他們的曲目包含三十多歲的爵士樂，帶有一絲時髦的靈魂，巴爾幹的節奏和默西塞德郡流行音樂。
Absynthe Minded原本是一個單人樂隊，是音樂家兼歌手作曲家Bert Ostyn。他從1999年開始，在比利時根特（Ghent）（比利時）的一間5至4間臥室的8首歌曲中錄製了“超過這個”（More than This），歌曲採用中等搖滾風格。
在錄音室錄製一些材料的機會帶來了蘑菇假期（2000年）。在這個演示中，其他的音樂家們首次與Ostyn合作，後來成立了一個名叫Tao Tse Tse的樂隊。 Ostyn的第三個演示，Krankenhaus酒店，再次在一個嘈雜的公寓臥室錄製，在一個Tascam四軌。
第一個樂隊演示叫做Sweet Oblivion（2002）;樂隊本身更名為Absynthe Minded Quartet。在這個名字下他們自己巡演，並為幾個樂隊和藝術家（最著名的是Spinvis和Zita Swoon）提供支持。

2007年Absynthe Minded錄製了他們的第三張專輯“There Is Nothing”。
