2012 release from the Ohio pop rockers who appeared on America's Got Talent. The Strange Familiar, lead by Kira Leyden (vocalist/keyboard) and Jeff Andrea (lead guitarist) achieved early critical success with their hit 'Courage Is' which was featured as the promo theme for ABC Family's The Secret Life Of The American Teenager and also was recorded by Orianthi who made it a Top 40 adult single hit. The band reconnected with music producer Brian Malouf (Dave Matthews/Madonna/Everclear/Lisa Loeb) to work on Chasing Shadows, which features a total of 11 sparkling pop tunes, all penned by the group.
