we got our gear we got our own crew
soundcheck done and dinner on its way
we sat our asses down in a room behind the stage
as we were waiting there backstage
people started to arrive
we could hear the awaiting crowd roar
and we thought it would be a killer show
we got on stage and the intro blasting out
kicking the first song through the light and smoke
couldn't see much but it didn't bother us
but the sound on stage was loud as hell

thought it's been some years we still miss that gear
