Originally released in 1981, 'Fire Down Under' has, over the years, become a rites of passage release for hard rock and metal fans around the world. The last RIOT album to include original vocalist Guy Speranza, 'Fire Down Under' is to this day considered the band's best album, even though the band was originally unhappy with how it came out. 'Fire Down Under' has been re-issued twice since its initial release, once by the now defunct High Voltage Records (High Voltage took liberties re-mixing the record w/ poor results), & once by Metal Blade Records utilizing the original mix plus two bonus tracks. This vinyl pressuring uses the original mix as the record was intended, and includes two bonus tracks.
